GOP members uncover tobacco settlement scandal

(St. Louis, MO) -- Some G-O-P lawmakers claim it's the biggest scandal in Missouri history.

State Representative Brent Evans today will release documents that he says shows the state is paying half-a-Million-dollars in tobacco settlement money to lawyers who contributed to political campaigns. Evans says the lawyers did little work. Other Republican lawmakers are calling for the settlement money to pass through the Legislature before the lawyers are paid.
