The American Cancer Society to Hold Cancer and More Conference

STATESBORO, Ga., Jan 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Cancer Society will hold the second annual Cancer and More conference for health care professionals in Georgia and South Carolina on Thursday, January 27 at the Ogeechee Technical Institute in Statesboro
A distinguished faculty will present a comprehensive program that will allow educational credits to be earned by the health care professionals who attend the conference. The faculty includes plastic surgeon Peter Burr, MD, Statesboro; pulmonologist Andrew Cichelli, MD, Statesboro; medical oncologist Ronald Goldberg, MD, Savannah; Helen Graff, PhD, Statesboro; radiation oncologist Dent Purcell, MD, Savannah; otolaryngologist Stephen Rashleigh, MD, Savannah; and Robin Turner, RD, Savannah.
A special feature of the conference will be a keynote address by nationally known lecturer, author and humorist Greg Risberg, MSW. His topic will be ``Humor, Hugs and Hope.'' The upbeat program helps people to realize more humor in their lives, see the health benefits of humor and to feel more hopeful.
